Electronic USB Cash Drawers interface with POS terminals that support USB I/O ports that output 5VDC to the electronic USB Interface Module. The Module increases the current to 12VDC to operate the12VDC drawer release solenoid This Module consists of a snap-together plastic housing with attaching tabs for fastening . It houses the PCB which consists of a CPU controller (processor), array of supporting chips, RJ11(F) jack on one end & USB(F) jack on the other. No AC/DC power supply adapter is required because the power is created by the Module.
